Q:What are the hours of operation for the Administrative Office?
A: The Administrative Office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. We are closed weekends and most holidays.
Q: What day is trash picked up in Morningside?
A: Regular Household Trash will be collected on Tuesday & Friday of each week between 7am and 7pm.
Bulk Trash will be collected on Friday of each week between 7am and 7pm with regular trash service. No more than 3 items per-week and all mattress and box spring must be wrapped in plastic.
Recyclables will be collected on Tuesday of each week between 7am and 7pm.
Yard Waste will be collected on Monday of each week between 7am and 7pm.
Q: How do I get a new recycle bin?
A: Residents can call the Administrative Office (301-736-2300) M-F 8:30am-5pm. Give them your address and arrangements will be made to deliver a new bin to your home. You can also stop by the Administrative Office and pick one up during business hours. One bin per household.
Q: Do you rent out the large meeting room for private functions?

Q: Can I speak to the Mayor or Council Members?
A: Yes, but please remember that the Mayor and Council Members are not normally in the office during regular business hours. We will be happy to take a message and have them contact you at their earliest convenience.
